I’d been planning to make a series of handmade artist’s books of prints for a while, but unfortunately I hadn’t got past making a proof of concept. So when Patrick Kolb invited me to submit some work for this Photo Continuum show, I leapt at the chance to finish my book project.

My objective was to share a personal selection from my “Glimpses” portfolio, a body of work which I’ve been building for several years. Each Glimpse is a close up detail of someone’s body, a beautiful picture but also a portrait.
