Photography is my way of sharing thoughts, feelings and experiences that I could never express verbally.

My entire life has been spent in the Northwest. Therefore, most of my subject matter is regional – very familiar and personal to me. I have seen or ignored most of these subjects many times.

I love nature and the high alpine country, but lately I am drawn to subject matter closer to home. Nature is still important, but people, history and change are as well.

Over the last 25 years I have used a number of different tools and techniques in search of beautiful, moving images. I was introduced to the platinum/palladium process 15 years ago but chose to go another direction. A few years ago I became reacquainted with the process and fell in love with the results.
